By-Hand Artists 12 Days of Christmas

The event was so popular last year that we had 3 groups going. I was days 9 and 10 of two groups. What fun! The items are works of art and of course hand made. Wonderful group of artists and felt to blessed to be part of this group. I made 24 Zentangle tiles as my gift. They can be used as a coaster as they have been sprayed with a protective coating. I am posting all 24 and perhaps you can spot your tile.

This is Day ONE....and I am about to open a gift. Santa's creative helpers have helped to fill the sleigh. There are 5 more to arrive, but doesn't this look wonderful. Well, I can hardly wait any longer....

The background is a Christmas collage, and the tree is embossed with gold.

At the Beach with Bumpa

This is a painting of my grandaughter Chloe with her grampa, whom she calls "Bumpa".

Green card stock was embossed using a Cuttlebug, and put on gold background. The tree was decorated with a gold leaf pen and Stickles.

Wide Awake Poppy

This painting is one of the painting that were hung this morning at Sybil Andrews Cottage.
The Sybil Andrews Society along with the Driftwod Society are having a show there for a couple of weeks. The cottage is now a heritage site as Sybil Andrews (1898-1992) was an internationally known linocut artist.

A gift from Paradise

Shortly after bringing the Bird of Paradise into the house for the winter she gave us this beautiful bloom with several more on their way.

Art Show at the Tidemark Theatre for the month of June

Catherine MacLeod, Carrie Mulcahy, Heather Hughson and myself held an art show at the Tidemark for the month of June. We had a terrific response from our opening of the show on June 7th.
Upon entering the theatre we had two paintings each, and then we hung our paintings in group.
"Rowboat waiting to fish and "Old and still loved" are two of my acrylic paintings.
